Leather goods brand | January 2021 - December 2022

Birthed in Cape Town and nurtured in Kampala (Uganda), AKULLU started off as my leather goods brand, with the hopes that it would eventually move into fashion garments, too. With Africa, a continent rich with natural resources, unique heritage and talents, as the inspiration, I embarked to produce African inspired items made from leather, bark cloth, printed Ankara and other exotic materials. All products are designed innovatively, crafted slowly and stitched intricately, also made available locally and internationally. AKULLU was also able to be part of collaborative projects with other brands, which adds to its value of unity with people.
